The Indiana High School Baseball team repeats as the WPIAL champions after shutting out Elizabeth Forward 4-0.

Coach Dan Petroff said that good pitching and a solid defense brought the WPIAL title back to Indiana.
Coach Dan Petroff said when Indiana got to host the first round PIAA playoff game at the White Township Rec Complex, it was an amazing atmosphere. He hopes to see that again on Monday.
Ethan Shank hit the single that got Indiana on the scoreboard first. He talks about getting the big hit that wasn’t so flashy.
Charlie Manzi didn’t expect to come in and pitch, especially with the bases loaded. He trusted his defense to have his back.
Indiana is now 19-4 and move on to the PIAA tournament next Monday at the White Township Rec Complex against Somerset.
District playoff baseball continues as the Homer-Center Wildcats take on the Claysburg-Kimmel Bulldogs today at 3:00 PM for the D6 single-A championship. Airtime is 2:40 today on Renda Digital TV.
