CURVE FALL TO YARD GOATS IN SERIES OPENER

The Altoona curve fell in their series opener in Hartford to the Yard Goats 4-3.

Altoona jumped out to a 2-0 lead off a sac fly by Ivan Brethowr in the second and a Will Taylor RBI groundball single in the 4^th before Hartford tied it in the 5^th and took the lead in the 6^th.  Altoona drew equal in the 7^th on a Duce Gourson single, but Hartford re-took the lead in the 8^th thanks to a single by Adian Longwell.

The two teams play again tonight with Connor Wietgrefe starting for Altoona.
