A 47-year-old man from Endeavor in Forest County was killed and his wife seriously injured Saturday morning when strong winds toppled two large trees onto their tent at a campground in North East, authorities said.
Exploreclarion.com is reporting, the incident occurred around 8:45 a.m. near Middle and Hirtzel roads in Erie County. The woman was transported to UPMC Hamot for treatment.
Pennsylvania State Police and the Erie County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
