The Steelers continue the voluntary portion of their offseason program this week. Pittsburgh resumes its organized team activities today. The Steelers will start mandatory minicamp next Tuesday.
Meanwhile, some members of the Black and Gold showed up at a Mexican wrestling event. Hall of Fame center Dermontti Dawson, safety Sebastian Castro and mascot Steely McBeam accompanied luchadore Neon to the ring for a match Friday night at Arena Mexico. The Steelers have been a popular team in Mexico for a long time, and are one of nine teams officially granted marketing rights by the NFL’s International Home Marketing Area program.
