Rebecca Lynn Baird, 46, of Bradenville, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at Independence Health System Latrobe Hospital, Latrobe, PA.
Born on November 5, 1979, in Latrobe, PA, she was the beloved daughter of Perry W. and Kathleen (Rubino) Baird.
Rebecca was a proud graduate of Blairsville High School, Class of 1998, and a former member of First Methodist Church. She will be remembered for her caring heart, gentle spirit, and the love she shared so freely with those around her. Rebecca treasured the time she spent with family and friends, creating memories that will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Aayla Beck and her companion, Mark Brodrick, of Lucerne Mines; her sister, Cristal Baird of Greensburg; and her fiancé, Scott Duncan of Bradenville.
In addition to her parents, Rebecca was preceded in death by her brothers, Phillip and Timothy Watkins.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 6 -7 p.m. at Shoemaker Funeral Home, Inc., 49 N. Walnut St., Blairsville, PA.
Inurnment will be in Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, PA.
