The Indiana County Transit Authority Board of Directors announced the appointment of Michelle Jesko to the board.
The County Commissioners appointed Jesko at a recent meeting. She is the Mayor of Saltsburg Borough and served 20 years on Saltsburg Borough Council before that. She has also served in a variety of community organizations including the Saltsburg Lions Club and is also a founding member of the Heritage Holiday Committee of Saltsburg.
IndiGo’s Executive Director Brenda Hill said in a statement that “Michelle’s longstanding commitment to public service and community engagement makes her a valuable edition to our board.” Jesko says she looks forward to working on the board and supporting “an organization that plays such an important role in connecting people to work, medical care, and everyday needs.”
