Today marks the 118th birthday of actor and Indiana native Jimmy Stewart, and the Jimmy Stewart museum is celebrating with a new exhibit that focuses on the new biopic that will be released in the fall.
The new display is “The Making of Jimmy” which will include props, costumes and behind the scenes looks at the film that will highlight Stewart’s career. As part of the festivities, a news conference is scheduled today that will include appearances by KJ Apa, who will play Stewart in the film, along with the director, Aaron Burns and Jimmy’s daughter and executive producer Kelly Stewart-Harcourt. Apa will also greet fans from 2:00 to 3:30 today, along with Stewart-Harcourt.
The museum is opening at noon after the news conference.
