Making his first Double-A start, Matt Ager limited Erie to two runs over five innings and the Altoona Curve scored four runs in the second to top the SeaWolves, 4-2. Altoona stole six bases in the game, five of them in the second inning, and their stellar stretch in the field continued, with their eleventh straight error-free game. Duce Gourson drove in two runs with a single, and the Curve added another run on a throwing error.
Khristian Curtis starts for the Curve tonight in the second game of the series.
