Jury selection is scheduled for today in Indiana County Court for five defendants, including a couple charged with child endangerment.
Court documents show 45-year-old Phillip Barnett and 32-year-old Melanie Ann Barnett, both of Robinson are charged with three counts each of felony endangering the welfare of children and misdemeanor reckless endangerment. Melanie Barnett is also charged with intimidation of a witness or victim. The incident is dated January 1st of 2023. This marks the fifth time that the court will attempt to seat a jury for the couple.
Jury selection will also start for the trial of 37-year-old Christopher Brady of Penn Run. He faces four counts of reckless endangerment and one count of possession of an instrument of crime. The charges date back to August 10th of last year.
