An Indiana Borough teen is facing charges of overtaking a school bus as it was stopped. Indiana Borough Police say 19-year-old Sierra Yarnall was seen by witnesses passing a bus in the 1300 block of Church Street as it was stopped at an intersection with the red hazard lights on and stop arm extended. The charges were filed through District Judge Anthony Sottile’s office.
Indiana Borough Police charged an Indiana man with DUI after a traffic stop early Sunday morning. Police say they pulled over a car driven by 22-year-old Alex Bloomquist in the 500 block of Philadelphia Street at 2:15 in the morning for a summary traffic offense. Police discovered that he was intoxicated to the point that it was not safe for him to drive, and they also found an open alcoholic container in the car. He was taken into custody and released to a sober person. Charges were filed through District Judge Anthony Sottile’s office.
