A memorial service to honor law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty will be held today in Indiana.
The Indiana County Sheriff’s office has announced that the annual Peace Officers Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 this afternoon at the county courthouse. The service is part of National Police Week, which was recognized by the county commissioners with a proclamation earlier this week.
In 2025, 111 officers across the United States were killed in the line of duty.
