The verdict is in for a Delmont woman charged in the 2023 death of her adopted son.
Lauren Maloberti was convicted yesterday on charges including 3rd-degree murder in the death of five-year-old Landon Maloberti. Prosecutors say physical abuse of the boy led to his death.
The defendant’s husband — Jacob Maloberti — also faces charges in the case but will be tried separately.
