MALOBERTI TELLS JURORS HUSBAND WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR BOY’S DEATH

The defense has rested its case in the Westmoreland County trial of Lauren Maloberti.

Maloberti is the Delmont woman charged — along with her husband — in the 2023 death of her adopted son.

In testimony Wednesday, Lauren Maloberti told jurors that her husband had raped and emotionally controlled her and that he was responsible for the boy’s death.
