Jared Jones threw four scoreless innings in a rehab start and Duce Gourson clubbed a solo home run as Altoona shut out Harrisburg, 1-0. Jones made his third rehab start since having elbow surgery a year ago and was extremely efficient, throwing 52 pitches, 36 of them strikes. He gave up three singles, struck out two, and walked none.
Matt Ager made his Double-A debut for the Curve and got the win, throwing four more shutout innings, giving up three hits and a walk while striking out four, and Noah Murdock tossed a scoreless ninth for the save. The Curve bullpen have thrown nineteen straight scoreless innings since last Friday.
The Curve and Senators play an Education Day game today, with Josh Loeschorn on the mound at 11 AM.
