A fire at a rear structure on the property of Famco Machine in Young Township was quickly contained Tuesday evening, with no injuries and minimal damage reported, according to the Punxsutawney Spirit.
Fire Chief Chris Smith said crews arrived at heavy smoke around 5:42 p.m. at the South Main Street property and extinguished the fire before it spread to the company’s main office building.
Firefighters also responded to several other incidents in the area, including a natural gas call, a downed tree and a two-vehicle crash with no reported injuries.
