Two IUP players have swept the final PSAC Athlete of the Week awards for baseball and softball.
Baseball shortstop David Kessler hit .333 with six hits in five games, with two extra-base hits and five RBIs.
Softball infielder/outfielder Madison Pikula won the award for the third time this season, hitting .563 with three doubles and a triple and three runs driven in. She had multiple hits in every game, including three against UPJ, and she set the IUP career stolen base record, swiping her 59th bag.
West second-seeded IUP plays East third seed Shippensburg on Thursday in the PSAC baseball playoffs at Slippery Rock.
West top seed IUP plays the winner between Shepherd and Clarion in the PSAC softball tournament tomorrow in Binghampton, New York.
