Indiana County’s emergency crews responded to many different types of calls yesterday.
The first call of the day was at 3:19 a.m. for a report of a vehicle accident on Route 22 East in West Wheatfield Township. Armagh fire department was sent to the scene. The second call was at 3:36 for utility lines down for a location on Store Hill Road in Ernest Borough, with Creekside fire crews responding.
At 3:53, an automatic fire alarm activation was reported on Mountain View Drive in Montgomery Township. Commodore crews were sent out at the time.
The next call would come some time later at 12:16 for a gas leak on East Pike Road in White Township. Indiana Fire Association was called out for that. An hour later, traffic control was set up on Route 22 East in West Wheatfield Township, with Clyde and Armagh/East Wheatfield fire crews sent to assist state police.
Finally, another gas leak was reported just after 3 p.m.. It was reported on Philadelphia Street in Indiana Borough, with IFA and Indiana Borough Police responding.
