An air disaster drill is coming up this week at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport.
The training session is planned for Wednesday evening, beginning at 6 p.m. Over 150 volunteers will portray injured and deceased victims involved in a large crash or emergency, allowing firefighters, EMS crews, and airport officials to test the response to that type of incident.
The airport must hold one of these simulations every three years due to Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
