Sentencing will take place today for a man convicted of murder in Westmoreland County.
Earlier this year, 55-year-old Thomas Stanko was found guilty of first-degree murder for the death of Cassandra Gross. Gross, who was Stanko’s ex-girlfriend, was reported as missing in 2018 and has been declared dead, even though her body was never found.
Stanko is expected to be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
