A man charged with sexually assaulting two minors is due in court today for a motions hearing.
Court documents show 68-year-old Patrick Joseph Williams of Indiana faces charges of rape by forcible compulsion, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years of age and indecent assault of a person under the age of 13. The charges go back to incidents in 1995 and 1998. The victims informed Indiana Borough Police in May of 2022 of the incidents and police arrested Williams after a five-month investigation. At today’s proceedings, President Judge Thomas Bianco will preside over an evidentiary hearing where evidence and testimony may be presented to resolve specific issues.
Jury selection for Williams’ trial is set for August 24th.
