Charges are being filed against a juvenile accused of making threats against the Belle Vernon Area School District.
The Westmoreland County D.A.’s Office says Rostraver Police were recently contacted after a Minnesota gamer reported someone that they were playing with online had made a threat of violence. A search warrant was later executed on the suspect’s home.
Prosecutors say the suspect will be charged as a juvenile with terroristic threats and simple assault.
