Denise Alexander Paratto, Homer City, PA, born on September 27, 1963, Saitama Ken, Japan, entered the loving arms of her heavenly Father on April 21, 2026, after a courageous and faith filled battle with Leiomyosarcoma.
She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, nurse and friend. She faced her illness with extraordinary strength and grace, never complaining and trusting in the Lord deeply.
Through her journey she still cared for others with a generous heart despite her own health challenges. Her life was a testament to faith and compassion, having worked as a Registered Nurse at IRMC for 34 years, she touched countless lives. She was her mother’s best friend. To Al and her family, she was a source of love beyond measure.
Denise graduated in 1981 from Homer Center High School and ICTC as an LPN in1983. She went on to become a Registered Nurse attending Citizens General Hospital School of Nursing graduating in 1992.
