During the NFL Draft yesterday, the Steelers made a couple of deals for draft picks. The first was to Indianapolis, where the Steelers got pick number 47 in the second round and number 249 in round seven and gave the Colt’s a second round pick (53), a fourth round pick (135) and a seventh round pick (237). The other trade was with Seattle where the Black and Gold received pick number 96 in this year’s draft in the third round and gave them the third and sixth round picks , numbers 99th and 216th overall.
As for who the Steelers picked up, it was mostly a boost to the offense. With pick #47, the Steelers got Wide Receiver Germie Bernard from Alabama. In Round 3, the Steelers picked up Penn State QB Drew Allar and Offensive Lineman Gennings Dunker from Iowa. The draft wraps up today from Acrisure Stadium with the Steelers having one pick in rounds four and five, then three in round seven.
