The Steelers opened their three-day “new coach” minicamp yesterday, and starting left tackle Broderick Jones was there, although still limited by a neck injury suffered last season. Despite reports over the weekend that Jones had suffered a “setback” in his recovery from fusion surgery, general manager Omar Khan said “nothing’s changed”, and “obviously, he’s limited.”
The status of Jones is expected to play a role in the Steelers’ first-round strategy in the NFL Draft on Thursday. So is the status of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, who still has not committed to playing next season, or to playing for the Steelers.
