A driver in Canoe Township faces citations after crashing into a tree and leaving the scene without notifying authorities, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Police said Ian J. McDaniel, 24, of Rossiter, lost control of a 2007 Lexus while turning at a high rate of speed onto Tyger Road around 11 p.m. April 15, sending the vehicle down an embankment where it struck a tree.
Authorities said McDaniel was not injured and walked home after the crash but was later cited for failing to report the accident.
