An Armstrong County woman accused of killing and concealing the deaths of four infants will have her trial delayed after giving birth while in jail, according to court officials.
ExploreClarion.Com is reporting, Jessica Marie Mauthe, 40, of Ford City, faces charges including criminal homicide and involuntary manslaughter in connection with the deaths, which investigators say occurred over several years at a Cadogan Township home. Authorities allege the infants’ remains were discovered in September 2025 in a closet and attic after the property owner began cleaning the residence following Mauthe’s eviction.
A new trial date has not been set, and Mauthe remains held without bail.
