From the US National Weather Service
The combination of low humidity and breezy wind will create marginal fire weather conditions again today across the region. Brush fires become more likely in this environment, so use caution if working with flammable materials outside today.
Later, a cold front will approach the region this afternoon bringing showers and some thunderstorms. There is no severe or flooding risk. Total accumulation from the system is forecast to be less than 0.25″ areawide. The probability of thunderstorms developing along the front is between 15% and 25%.
