The 23rd brush fire call of the year in Indiana County was reported yesterday in Green Township.
Commodore and Cherry Tree fire departments were sent out yesterday at 1:29 PM to a location along Route 240 in Green township. Details on how it started and how much property was damaged have not been released as of yet.
Other calls for first responders yesterday included a dumpster fire reported at 7:29 PM at a location on 3rd Street in Ernest Borough. Creekside fire department was sent out for that call. There was also a possible brush fire reported on Route 119 South in Center Township that brought the Homer City fire department out at 8:54 PM.
Indiana firefighters got an early start to their day, as they were sent at 1:50 this morning for a carbon monoxide alarm call on Anderson Avenue in Indiana Borough.
