The number of first time filings for unemployment are increasing across Pennsylvania.
That’s according to the U.S. Department of Labor, which says for the week ending April 4th, there were nearly eleven-thousand first time filings in the state. That number is nearly 25-hundred more filings than the week prior.
Nationally, the number of initial filings increased compared to the week prior.
