The event is an opportunity for students to learn workplace skills like proper conduct, teamwork and other skills, according to Katie Monsour, a Curriculum Specialist with the Armstrong-Indiana Intermediate Unit.
This marks the fourth year the Indiana County Chamber of Commerce and ARIN have teamed up for the event. Students were greeted by IUP’s Mascot “Norm” and and “Andy the Armadillo” from Texas Roadhouse. Over the next three days, over 400 students will hit the streets and visit over 30 businesses in Downtown Indiana to complete their challenge.
