As we head into Easter Weekend, the average cost of a gallon of gas continues to go down across Pennsylvania and the United States.
The national average is now at $4.07 a gallon, according to Triple-A this morning. That is a six-cent drop from last week at this time and 24 cents lower than last month at this time. Pennsylvania’s average is now $4.16 a gallon, which is a penny less than yesterday and a seven-cent decrease from last week and a 24-cent decrease over the last month.
Indiana county’s average is at $4.18 a gallon as of this morning, tying it with Armstrong and Westmoreland County’s averages. Cambria County’s average is the lowest of the surrounding counties at $4.13 a gallon. Clearfield is now at $4.16 a gallon. Jefferson County is the highest in the region at $4.21. The lowest gas price average across Pennsylvania is in both Lancaster and Northampton Counties, with both counties reporting a $4.08 average. Potter county has the highest average at $4.27 a gallon.
Gas prices in Clymer and Indiana this morning are at $4.17 a gallon. In Homer City, gas prices are two cents cheaper at $4.15 a gallon. Blairsville’s gas prices are the cheapest in Indiana County with $4.13 a gallon.
