Governor Josh Shapiro is hitting a high water mark in fundraising as he looks to be reelected.
The governor’s campaign generated over ten-million dollars in donations during the first three months of this year. That is a new state record, more than doubling the previous record for a Pennsylvania governor’s race at this stage in the cycle.
Shapiro is expected to go up against Republican state Treasurer Stacy Garrity in the general election this fall. That race will be set following the Pennsylvania primary next month.
