Troopers are continuing to investigate a fatal state police-involved shooting in Barr Township, Cambria County Tuesday night.
State police say that officers were trying to serve an arrest warrant on a man at 7:30 PM at a home on Springer Road. After troopers established a perimeter, the suspect, later identified as 46-year-old John D. Rackovian III, reportedly emerged from the woods and fired shots at the officers. They returned fire and fatally wounded Rackovian.
