The Altoona Curve finally get underway tonight with a 6 o’clock season opener against Harrisburg at Peoples Gas Field.
Manager Andy Fox is back for his second season in Altoona. The coaching staff includes returning hitting coach Scott Seabol and fellow hitting coach Justin Orton, who rejoins the Altoona staff after two years away. The pitching coaches are Kevin Walker, who’s been coaching in the Red Sox organization since 2009, and David Perez, promoted from the Pirates’ Dominican Summer League Black team.
The Curve have not named their starter tonight.
Curve play-by-play man Jon Mozes will join Indiana In the Morning on WCCS each Friday during the season at 9:45 AM.
