A 29-year-old Clarion man faces multiple misdemeanor charges after allegedly sending an email threatening to have an armed militia kill employees of a mineral services company involved in a property dispute, authorities said.
Jack Robert Brosius was charged with four counts each of terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment after workers with Pennsylvania Mineral Services LLC reported the message in February, according to state police. The email allegedly named specific employees and warned they would be “killed on sight,” while Brosius denied sending any threats when interviewed by investigators.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 28 before Jeffrey C. Miller.
