At the NFL owners meetings in Arizona yesterday, the Steelers Art Rooney II touched on a number of topics, including:
- Quarterback Aaron Rodgers, whom he expects to make a decision before the NFL Draft
- The new color scheme in the seats at Acrisure Stadium, which he said was because the “sea of gold” seats can get “overwhelming”
- The Rooney Rule, which he expects will remain unchanged despite a Florida ruling that it’s “illegal” in that state
- And the upcoming NFL Draft in Pittsburgh on April 23rd. He says get ready, because the changes are going to come fast.
Construction on the 100-foot draft stage began Saturday along Art Rooney Avenue next to the stadium. The entire NFL Draft event will unfold over nearly four million square feet.
