A bit of rain fell over the last 24 hours, with most area sites seeing between 1″ and 2.5″. Flood warnings remain in effect in across the Pittsburgh metro, northern WV panhandle, and eastern Ohio. If you encounter flooding on the morning drive, turn around, don’t drown.
Here’s a look at how much rain we received Indiana County, according to the official measure recorded at the Pennsylvania American Water Company Two Lick Filter Plant.
Rainfall in the 24-hour period ending at 7 am today was 1.41 inches. That took us up to 6.03 inches for March and 10.36 inches for the year thus far. We’ve also received 3.0 inches of snow this month for a total of 47.3 inches of snow this winter. We had 27.5 inches at this time last year.
The plant is located in White Township. The totals could differ with measurements taken in other areas of Indiana County.
