Not much change in the forecast for tonight/early Friday.
A line of severe storms is expected to cross the area from the north late this afternoon into the evening. Storms have the potential to produce damaging winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes. After initial storms, we will then transition to a flooding threat as rounds of heavy rain continue through much of the overnight. Parts of the area have been upgraded to a Slight (2/4) risk for excessive rainfall due to this threat.
