A Weedville woman is facing charges after authorities allege she stole more than $12,000 from Clearfield High School through various student fundraisers and club accounts.
Denise McGranor, 48, was charged following a Sept. 10, 2025 investigation that found $12,344.25 missing from multiple school activities, according to a criminal complaint. Officials said McGranor, who oversaw several fundraisers, was linked to discrepancies involving prom ticket sales, ski club trip invoices and yearbook funds. Police allege hundreds of prom tickets were sold but only a single $45 deposit was recorded, far short of expected totals. Additional shortages were identified across other events and accounts.
McGranor is charged with criminal mischief involving pecuniary loss. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for May 13.
