The former treasurer of a Westmoreland County Parent Teacher Organization is facing charges of theft.
Darshanna Truss was the treasurer of the Fort Allen Elementary School PTO. The group reported to police this month that they were missing 46-thousand dollars.
Investigators say the funds had been deposited into Truss’ personal bank account.
