State police are sharing more details on a Mount Pleasant Township toddler who died of a methamphetamine overdose last year.
Investigators now say 15-month Thomas Blaesser likely got the drug in his system by consuming tainted breast milk. Court documents show the child’s parents, Ashley Makarsky and Michael Blaesser, have a history of drug use and two other children were previously exposed to drugs through breast milk as well.
The parents are facing third-degree homicide and other counts.
