Stephen J. Costello, Sr., of Indiana, passed away on Sunday March 15, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born September 3, 1944, to John and Veronica (Biros) Costello in Indiana.
Steve was a member of the Church of the Resurrection in Clymer. He worked Penelec for 30 years before retiring in 2000. Steve enjoyed hunting and camping. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his children, Lorraine (John) Gibson, Stephen (Shari) Costello, Jr., and Michael (Lori) Costello; all of Indiana, grandchildren, Andrew (McKayla) Costello, Matthew Costello, Michael Costello, Jr., and Megan Costello; and three great-grandchildren, Berklee, Beckett, and, Bailey Costello, a brother Robert Costello and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 57 years, Delores Pauline Costello, on July 8, 2021.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and also on Friday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM with… officiating.
Interment will follow at Church of the Resurrection Cemetery, Clymer.
