Evgeni Malkin’s five-game suspension is over and he should return to the ice for the Penguins tonight in Colorado. The Pens are still awaiting the return of Sidney Crosby who still has not played since he was injured in the Olympics.
The Penguins beat Utah on Saturday night, rallying from a 2-0 deficit for a 4-3 win. They are tied with the Islanders for second place in the NHL Metro Division behind the Carolina Hurricanes.
With IUP basketball on U92 tonight, the Pens’ game will not be on the air.
