Despite the widespread outages this morning, there were only two reports of lines down in Indiana County since noon yesterday.
The first was at 12:06 PM along Route 217 in Blacklick Township. Aultman, Black Lick and Blairsville firefighters were sent out. The other call was at 4:05 PM along Fulton Run Road in White Township. Indiana Fire Association was dispatched at the time.
There have also been two brush fire calls during that time. One at 4:04 PM on Route 981 in Westmoreland County. Saltsburg, Tunnelton, and Iselin firefighters went to help Westmoreland County first responders. The other brush fire call was at 2:13 this morning along Bethel Cemetery Road in West Wheatfield Township. Clyde Fire Department was sent. This makes 16 brush fire calls for Indiana County this year so far.
