The United Lions moved on to the PIAA Class AA boys quarterfinals with their 29th win of the season last night at Armstrong High School. Todd Marino has the story.
Lions coach Matt Rodkey says holding the opponent under 40 points is always helpful.
Rodkey says the Lions help-out defense is strong, and it’s good to have a shot-blocker like Ryan Felix in the lane.
United will face The Paul Robeson High School for Human Services, a public, magnet school from West Philadelphia, on Saturday. The 22-6 Huskies beat Susquehanna, 77-40, last night. The game will be Saturday at a site and time still to be announced.
Rodkey says it will be fun to take a long road trip, but the team knows why it’s going.
We will update this story with the site and time for Saturday’s quarterfinal as soon as they are released.
