Paul Peter Chapla, 91, of Apollo, PA formerly of Josephine, PA, died Wednesday, February 07, 2018 at his home.
Paul was born December 24, 1926 in Indiana, PA to Paul Czapla and Ursula (Piekarchyk) Czapla.
Paul served in the US Army during WW II. Paul was a retired machine shop foreman for Joy Manufacturing. He loved fishing and carpentry. Paul belonged to the Coral Sportsman’s Club.
Paul is survived by his daughter Judy A. Gulas & husband Ted, Apollo, PA, his grand children David M. Gulas, Pittsburgh, PA and Teddy Gulas, Apollo, PA, and many Nieces & Nephews
Paul was preceded in death by his father, Paul Czapla; his mother, Ursula (Piekarchyk) Czapla; his wife, Christina (Belash) Chapla in 2004; his son, Mark P. Chapla in 2008; his brothers John, Alex, Joseph & Fred Chapla; his sisters Frances Blumberg, Sophia Vresilovic and Helen Dube’
Visitation will be at James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc., Blairsville, PA on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The funeral will be at James F. Ferguson Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, February 12, 2018 at 10:00 AM. VFW Post #5821 & the American Legion Post #0407 will conduct military services Monday morning in the Funeral Home.
Interment will be at Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania
