Thursday night, the Homer-Center School Board appointed a new member during a special voting meeting.
Out of four candidates who were selected for an interview in front of the board, Lewis Caruso was named the new board member. He talked about what he is looking forward to on the board.
He takes over for Fred Hayes, who moved out of the area last month.
