A Clune man is accused of sexually assaulting a minor in connection with an investigation that started last year.
Indiana County District Attorney Robert Manzi said that 39-year-old Jonathan McKendrick was charged with statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual assault of someone under 16, corruption of a minor and seven other crimes. State police started the investigation after receiving a Safe2Say report last May. That included interviews with the victim and several others who had knowledge of the events.
McKendrick is free on $50,000 bond with a preliminary hearing set for March 10th.
