At budget hearings this week in the State Capitol, the House will hear from the Attorney General’s office, Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Conservation & Natural Resources, and Judiciary on Monday; Labor & Industry and Education on Tuesday; Human Services on Wednesday; and the Department of State and Public Utility Commission on Thursday.
The Senate will take testimony from PennDOT on Monday; on Tuesday, the committee will hear from four State System of Higher Education universities, including IUP, and from the PUC; Wednesday’s schedule calls for testimony from the state’s Workforce Development & Job Training programs (L&I and DCED) and the Budget Secretary and Department of Revenue; and on Thursday, the Department of Education.
The Senate hearings will wrap up this week. The House has another week to go after this week’s proceedings.
