Indiana County Coroner Jerry Overman Jr. says that it could take days to weeks to confirm the identities of the two who died in a crash on Route 22 in West Wheatfield Township yesterday.
That crash was first reported at 8:03 by Indiana County 911 as Clyde, Armagh/East Wheatfield and Blairsville firefighters were sent out for the crash at the intersection with Bowser Road. At a news conference yesterday, State Police Public Information Officer Trooper Danielle Noble said a pickup truck on Bowser Road ran the stop sign at the intersection with Route 22 and was hit by a garbage truck and a tractor trailer. The impact caused both a fire and the garbage truck to overturn.
